With profound sadness and gratitude for life, we announce the passing of Patricia Anne Homenick (nee Kaye) at St. Boniface Hospital on January 28, 2026.
Patricia has gone to join her parents, William Kaye and Elsie Germain; and grandparents, Alex and Anne Bryndio. Patricia will be missed by brothers, Allan (Linda), and Richard (Kathy); and nieces and nephews; and “Granny” will be missed by her “chicklets,” Isabella and Kaydence.
Patricia was born in Winnipeg, attending Lord Nelson School and Sisler High School in the North End.
In her teens, Patricia was in Ukrainian dance. Pat was an excellent 5 Pin Bowler, winning lots of trophies. Pat loved to dance and listen to all types of music. She also enjoyed gardening and loved dogs, and she had three: Lucky, Tammy, and Whiskie.
Pat’s work experience was as a salesclerk at various Winnipeg institutions; and finally, her career with the Federal Government in Public Services.
A private family graveside service will be held for Patricia in the spring.
